Third quarter report cards were sent home today during third block classes. Please review your students grades and contact teachers with concerns or questions. Additionally, two waivers were attached to the report cards. Please review these waivers, and return them if you desire. Good afternoon, bus 136 will have a sub driver this afternoon. Also bus 141 and bus 147 will be a combined route. We do appreciate your understanding and patience as we have to make changes as needed.
Good evening, I do apologize that it is so late, but I just received information that one of my drivers will out tomorrow morning. Therefore there will be a sub driver for bus 136, so students that ride this bus you will need to be ready earlier than usual. Bus 141 and bus 147 kids will be on a combined route in the morning, so students that ride either of these buses make sure you are ready earlier than normal. So sorry again for the inconvenience.

We do apologize for such short notice, but there are some changes that will be made this afternoon with the buses that will have some students getting home at different times. The students that normally ride bus 141 that live on Mattocks and Bynum Ave will be riding bus 132 the afternoon. Buses 141 & 147 will be a combined route this afternoon. Also bus 145 will have a substitute driver this afternoon. Thank you all for your patience and understanding while we make sure the students arrive home safely.

ECU will bring students, faculty, and staff, along with LCC representatives, to answer any and all questions you have about college, ECU, LCC, and both of the school's programs. This partnership will provide a college knowledge presentation to all middle school, high school, community college students, AND their families. Spanish language information sessions will be available.

Mr. Howard brought some teachers and admin from Bertie County to Jones Senior today to observe Ms. Wicks in action. They had the chance to interact with the students and lessons, learning tips and techniques from each other.

Duke Energy has restored power to our school sites. Jones County Public Schools will operate on a regular schedule tomorrow.
Due to power outages at multiple schools, Jones County Public Schools will be canceled for students and staff today.
