Scholarship 101 Night for Seniors and their families
Monday, February 28 at 6:30pm in the JSHS Cafeteria.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

Beginning Friday, Feb. 18th students will be allowed in the building at 7:30 A.M.
Bus riders and car riders can enter the building at 7:30 A.M. Our previous time was 7:20 so this will be an adjustment beginning Feb. 18, 2022.
Also, car rider students who are late to school must be signed in by a parent.
Monday, February 14 is Valentine's Day. It is also the birthday of our former student and classmate, Ya'Zion Koonce, who passed away on January 3, 2022. His favorite color was red. Please join us as we show our love for Zi by wearing red on Monday, February 14, 2022.

JCPS wants to give a shout out to Ashley Andrews, Erica Wilson, Reese Owens, LaShawn Scott, and Nicole Duprey for National Counseling week! Thank you so much for taking care of our students' Social Emotional Learning!

Thank you Mrs. Ashley Andrews and Ms. Erica Wilson for all you do for the students, staff, and community of Jones Senior High School! You are awesome and we love you.

Attention Jones County Public School students

FAFSA Day in Guidance February 10th!
Seniors take advantage of this event and get your FAFSA for college filled out. Mr. Priest and a representative from LCC will be on hand to help out!
There will be no JV Basketball game tomorrow night.
Varsity Basketball only and the game starts at 5 pm.
Come out to support the Trojans take on Northside High School!

Our seniors visited the Aerospace & Advanced Manufacturing Center at LCC in Kinston!

We appreciate our Board of Education!

REMINDER:
Please note the following changes as Trenton Elementary and Jones Senior High School will now have separate car pool lanes:
-Jones Senior High School will remain in the current carpool lane dropping off at the cafeteria entrance.
-Trenton Elementary School will use the traffic loop (previous bus loop) and drop off students directly in front of Trenton Elementary School double doors.
-Families with students attending both schools will use the Trenton Elementary School carpool lane. High School students will walk into Trenton Elementary School with siblings and then walk down the main hallway to the Jones Senior High School wing.
-There will be NO double lines at either carpool line to provide a safer drop off protocol.
