3rd Grade Parents: You will be receiving a letter today (8/30) explaining the third grade reading requirements called "Read to Achieve." This letter also explains that your child will be taking the NC Beginning of Grade (BOG) reading test on September 6, 2023. Please read this letter carefully and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call the school and speak with your child's teacher, Mrs. Gillis, or Mr. Jenkins. Thank you!
Due to the potential of severe weather associated with Hurricane Idalia, Jones County Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, August 31st for students and staff. On Friday, September 1st, Jones County Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay for students and staff. Breakfast will NOT be served on Friday, due to the delay. Please stay safe and we look forward to students and staff returning to school on Friday
