Thank you to Mr. Robert Brock, JSHS Class of ‘87 and Ms. Bonita Simmons, founder of Tried By Fire Inc. for visiting our JSHS Musical Theatre classes! Our students had the opportunity to learn about what it’s truly like as a professional in the acting and performing arts industry. We also thank the JSHS Class of ‘85 for their generosity in covering the cost of theatre student tickets to see the upcoming production, “The Diary of a Mother” featuring Mr. Brock, and starring Ms. Simmons. The proceeds from this event will benefit Tried By Fire, a nonprofit which provides post-incarcerated women with a safe transitional home to rebuild their lives.
